Farm & Operational Data
Farmers and account holders retain ownership and control of their operational data submitted to GAISHA, subject to the permissions needed for us to host, process, and display that data within the platform.
You decide what data is connected, who can access it within your organisation, and whether to participate in optional pilot, research, or improvement programmes.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve GAISHA, including:
- Operating dashboards, alerts, reports, analytics, and AI-assisted recommendations for aquaculture operations.

AI Systems & Model Improvement
GAISHA uses artificial intelligence to interpret operational patterns, surface insights, and support advisory workflows. Some AI features are experimental or advisory in nature and should not be treated as guaranteed operational outcomes.
Where permitted by your settings, programme terms, or consent, we may use de-identified or aggregated farm data to improve models, validate analytics, and enhance platform reliability. We do not use identifiable farm data for unrelated purposes without a clear basis to do so.
Future AI capabilities may evolve as GAISHA develops, and we will update this policy when material changes affect how data is handled.
Security Practices
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we encourage customers to use strong credentials and limit account access appropriately.
